According to the St. Joseph County Police Department, Corporal Ray Warren was responding to slide-offs on U.S. 31 when a vehicle crashed into his patrol vehicle. The department says Warren was determined to be in non-life-threatening condition, and the driver of the other vehicle was not injured. In an update, the department shared Sunday that Warren has been treated and released from a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The incident comes just weeks after a sheriff's deputy was struck and killed while responding to a scene in Delaware County. Indiana native on ‘Jeopardy!’ winning streak, climbing all-time wins leaderboard

The Terre Haute native has gone on to win four more games since then, securing wins through Thanksgiving week, and bringing his streak to 14. Whitaker"s win on Thanksgiving tied him for 13th place on the all-time wins leaderboard. He is now one win behind a fellow Hoosier, Purdue archivist Adriana Harmeyer, who won $351,600 during her 16-game run on the show last year, winning 15 straight games. City of Fort Wayne, INDOT prepared for winter storm

According to the City of Fort Wayne, its Street Department has converted some of its tanker trucks used for leaf collection into snow plows. Those vehicles will now be divided among 18 snow routes, with a minimum of two vehicles assigned to each. Each route is prioritized in the following order: (1) arterial roads, (2) collectors" roads & Citilink bus routes, and (3) residential roads. 40th annual Festival of Gingerbread returns to downtown Fort Wayne
